Lift weights, improve your memory, study shows

Pumping iron doesn't just build muscles - it could also power-up your memory!

A recent study revealed that a single session of intense weightlifting can give your memory a significant boost (Hashimoto T. et.al., 2024).

Participants were divided into two groups: one group lifted weights while the other did not. After two days, the weight-lifting group remembered things better, thanks to their one-time workout.

Brain scans also showed increased activity in parts of the brain related to memory. The takeaway?

Practicing weight training regularly might just make your brain stronger too!
