Advanced glycation end-products are considered potent molecules capable of promoting neuronal cell death and participating in the development of neurodegenerative disorders such as Alzheimer's disease (Bittencourt LS, et al., 2014).

Advanced glycation end-products can be formed several ways. Elevated blood glucose can cause the glucose to react with protein and form advanced glycation end-products, that is one way. High temperature cooking can also form this compound.

Acrolein is substance found in the environment and processed food but can also be generated through the metabolism. Acrolein has been linked to Alzheimer’s disease.
The researchers of this study showed that guarana can prevent protein glycation, β-amyloid aggregation and acrolein induced toxicity on neuronal-like cells in a laboratory study (Bittencourt LS, et al., 2014).

Amyloid aggregation is found in Alzheimer’s disease.

Guarana is a plant compound especially popular in Brazil.

If guarana could help the nervous system and the memory to function better, it is worth while taking just for that reason, but guarana also does a lot more than that.

This formula was designed to increase energy and focus while at the same time activate neurotransmitters that help you feel calm.

The Sharp Focused formula contains caffeine, but the caffeine is provided by plant ingredients instead of a synthetic ingredient and provides several benefits.
