This research reviewed randomized controlled trials assessing the effects of omega 3
fatty acids on clinical symptoms and cognition in children and young people with
attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) (Chang JP, et al. 2017).
The researchers also reviewed case-control studies which evaluated the levels of
omega 3 fatty acids in the blood and buccal tissues of children and adolescents with
ADHD.
The results revealed that omega 3 fatty acids supplementation improved clinical
symptom scores and also improved cognitive measures associated with attention.

It was also found that children and young people with ADHD have lower levels of EPA
and DHA, the active ingredients in omega 3 fat.
This can be an easy way to help your kids improve if they have these issues.
It is also important that this approach does not produce side effects.
Omega 3 fatty acids are beneficial for your kids even if they don’t have any of these
symptoms.
This type of fat is beneficial for adults as well.
Omega 3 fatty acids from fish oil made in a triglyceride form are more stable and are
absorbed better than the more common form of ethyl esters.
